On the day of your session, you might receive local or moderate sedation anesthesia, depending on the extent of your procedure. Once you are relaxed and ready for the procedure, the surgeon will insert the applicator through a minor incision. The radiofrequency that reaches your cells loosens and liquifies the fat with radiofrequency, making it easier to remove through the thin cannula. At the same time, the energy from the radiofrequency device tightens the skin and the connective tissue.
